A good groove is felt and not heard.

Simmering in the spectral and locked into the lush, "Do Without Saying" collects five tracks, each recalling a separate set of historical nodes in house, techno, ambient, and other scenes adjacent to the dancefloor. Voices are present, but enjoyed for their tone rather than for their words. Core themes are carried through gradual grooves, which always might have taken another path. Give them the time to transform, and their expression may become apparent.

Do without saying (transitive/active variant of English 'go without saying') -

To suggest an intuitive process of identification through silence. To use silence as a form of non-identity. To consider tactileness over logophilia. To know that a good groove is felt and not heard. To “do without” having to say and without needing to explain. To abstractly express. To feel like I don’t need to spell it out for you. To trust that others will try to figure it out on their own. To know that they will not always succeed. To love the word but acknowledge what cannot be worded. To intentionally relieve attention from the sign. To remember that some things continue without verbalization. To advocate that the white horse is not a horse. To escape exoticism and reject reification, but maintain mystique. To prevent bloating. To starve the attention vortex. To blankpost. To keep it to yourself. To keep it for yourself.
